Privacy at Robin
Coöperatie Robin (“Robin”, “we” or “us”) takes your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit our website zoisrobin.nl or fill in one of our forms, why we do so and what rights you have.
We handle your data with care and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The data controller is Coöperatie Robin, office based in Boxtel, the Netherlands. Questions about this policy or your data? Email us at info@zoisrobin.nl.
What data we collect
We only collect data that you provide to us yourself through our forms:
- Contact form: your name, email address and your message.
- Dot on the map: your first and last name, email address, address details (street, house number, postal code and city), the type of member (resident or farmer) and your consent to show your approximate location on the members' map.
- Inspiration Session Registration Form: your name, email address, phone number, postal code, number of guests, and any comments.
- Statement of Interest: your name, street name and house number, postal code, phone number, email address, number of people in your household, and your contribution category (not the exact amount).
- Newsletter signup: your email address.
On the public members' map we never show your name or exact address. We only show an approximate location, derived from your postal code and rounded to about 110 metres, and only if you have given consent for this.
Why we use your data
We use your data solely for the following purposes:
- To answer your question or request submitted via the contact or inspiration form and to send you a confirmation.
- To register and manage your membership, to communicate with you and — with your consent — to show your approximate location on the members' map.
- To send you our newsletter with updates about Robin, if you have signed up for it.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, the performance of your membership and/or our legitimate interest in communicating with you. We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making and never sell it to third parties.
Who we share your data with
To provide our website and services we use a number of trusted parties (processors). With parties that process personal data on our behalf we conclude data processing agreements.
- Resend — sends emails on our behalf, such as confirmations and form notifications.
- Supabase — the database in which we securely store member data (hosted within the EU).
- PDOK Locatieserver (the Dutch Kadaster) — converts your postal code into an approximate location for the members' map.
- Vercel — hosts and serves our website.
- Sanity — our content management system; does not process form data.
- MapTiler and OpenStreetMap — provide the background map and do not receive personal data.
Cookies and analytics
Our website does not place tracking or marketing cookies and does not use analytics or tracking software. We do not track your browsing behaviour.
To prevent abuse and spam through our forms, our servers temporarily record the number of requests per IP address. This data is not linked to you as a person and is kept only briefly.
How long we keep your data
We do not keep your data longer than necessary:
- Member data is kept for as long as you are a member and afterwards no longer than needed to meet our (legal) obligations.
- Messages sent via the contact or inspiration form are kept for as long as needed to properly handle your question or request.
- Your email address for the newsletter is kept until you unsubscribe.
How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use. Member data is shielded and only accessible to authorised people over a secure connection. Data is always transmitted encrypted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Send an email to info@zoisrobin.nl with your request. We respond as quickly as possible and at the latest within the statutory period of one month.
